Vincent Bronner: Astrophysics PhD Student @ HITS

I am Vincent Bronner, an astrophysics PhD student at the Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies (HITS) in Germany. I am working together with Fabian Schneider on the evolution of massive stars and their resulting supernovae. I am interested in modeling dynamical phases of stellar evolution, particularly the pulsations of red supergiants and their impact on supernova properties, as well as common-envelope evolution in binary star systems. Additionally, I develop Bayesian inference tools for stellar model grids using statistical methods and machine learning techniques. More broadly, my research interests span binary star evolution across a wide range of masses and evolutionary stages.
